Canadian Parliament Can’t Abort Sex-Selective Abortions

Objectivity 4.0 | Credibility 4.5 | Relevance 4.9

After 15 years of silence on the issue of abortion, Conservative MP Cathy Wagantall, introduced a Bill to Parliament that would prohibit gender selective abortions. However, Bill C-233 was overwelmingly voted against by memebers of all Parties. Even the Liberal Party that claims to “represent” gender equality voted against the bill. Currently, there are zero restrictions on abortion in the nation. Hopefully that will change soon.
