Even though unemployment benefits ended early September and more than 65% of the U.S. population has been fully vaccinated, unemployment still remains a problem. Business owners have even raised salaries, trying to find employees. However, they cannot compete with the unemployment benefits people have received for over a year. When people get used to free money, it becomes hard to get them back to work and that is the crisis the job market faces now.
