Los Angeles is Third Major City to Pass Ordinance That Forces Businesses to Discriminate Against Customers

Objectivity 4.7 | Credibility 4.6| Relevance 4.7

On Wednesday, the Los Angeles City Council approved an ordinance that will require proof of vaccination for any person to enter the majority of businesses throughout the city. The only people exempt are those with a medical conditions that restrict their ability to get vaccinated or a “sincerely held religious belief,” which will be reviewed by the business the person is trying to enter. This will require businesses to discriminate against their customers simply on the basis of vaccination.
