Taiwanese President Tsai Ing-wen gave a frigid response to Chinese President Xi Jinping’s speech on the importance of mainland China’s reunification with Taiwan. In the last few months, China has sent jets into Taiwanese airspace to intimidate the Democratic island. However, President Tsai Ing-wen said that Taiwan refuses to bow to Chinese pressure.
