Merkel Insists in Two-State Solution for Arab-Israeli Conflict

Objectivity 4.4 | Credibility 4.6 | Relevance 4.5

German Chancellor Angela Merkel pleaded for a two-state solution to the Arab-Israeli conflict with Israel’s new Prime Minister Bennet. Bennet is a known hard-liner for his stance regarding Palestine. Although Germany is considered a good ally and Merkel a true friend of Israel, Bennet opposes creating a Palestinian state in Israeli-occupied lands. In the meantime, Iran expeditiously grows its nuclear capabilities creating a threat for the region and the world.
