China, Russia Protect NKorea Kim Regime in UN Security Council

North Korea launched a missile from a submarine turning on the alarms of the U.S. and the U.K. about Pyongyang destructive capabilities. Although the UN Security Council held a meeting, no joint statement or new sanctions resulted. China and Russia, permanent members of the Council, remained silent while other council members spoke out condemning North Korea’s violation.
