The new Adjutant General of the Oklahoma National Guard, Thomas Mancino, is standing against the DOD Vaccine Mandate for military personnel. The new General cited Title 32 of the U.S. legal code to defend his position. Although funded by the federal government, the Oklahoma National Guard takes orders from the state chain of command unless called to active duty by the president. Pentagon spokesman John Kirby said they will respond appropriately to Mancino’s defiance.
