NYPD arrested and charged ten people over two consecutive nights for sitting in restaurants without proof of vaccination and refusing to leave. Six were arrested at The Cheesecake Factory and four at Applebee’s. Gubernatorial candidate Derrick Gibson said, “This is a mandate, not a law, and they send the whole force out to protect Cheesecake Factory against people that are unvaccinated, they just simply want to eat a meal, that’s discrimination.”
