Thousands of protesters took to the streets in Montreal, Quebec, to speak out against the oppressive COVID-19 measures in effect across the province. Quebec is under heavy lockdown, with nearly all ‘non-essential’ establishments forced to close, including places of worship and a nightly curfew that begins a 10 PM. Private gatherings between households are prohibited, and vaccine passports are required for nearly all public places. The province has also announced a third COVID shot will soon be required to maintain fully vaccinated status.
