China Warns Military Conflict Likely If U.S. Continues to Embolden Taiwan

Qin Gang, Chinese ambassador to the U.S., said in an interview with NPR that the U.S. might face military conflict with China over Taiwan. “If the Taiwanese authorities, emboldened by the United States, keep going down the road for independence, it most likely will involve China and the United States, the two big countries, in a military conflict,” Qin said to NPR.
