LA County Board Votes to Fire 4,000 Unvaccinated Police Officers Amidst Rising Crime

The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors voted 4-0 to fire around 4,000 members of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department who declined to get the Covid-19 vaccine. L.A. County Sheriff Alex Villanueva called out the County Board for firing officers in the name of public safety amidst rising crime. Villanueva also remarked how these officers exposed themselves to Covid when there was no vaccine available while the rest of the citizens were quarantining in their homes.
