As the U.S. leaves the pandemic phase of Covid-19, several states with Democratic governors plan to end indoor mask mandates for businesses, venues, and schools. Governors from Delaware, New Jersey, California, and New York, among others, will end mandates in March. Despite coming changes at the state level, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) does not plan to relax masking guidance for now.
