CharityWatch, a nonprofit charity information service, inquired twice of Black Lives Matter Global Network Foundation (BLMGNF) with no response. BLMGNF appears to operate with no clear leadership. Knowing who leads is vital because, without leaders, there is no accountability. The organization raised over $90 million in one year, according to their “2020 Impact Report.” CharityWatch states, “transparency, accountability, and good governance are all necessary in order to achieve public trust ….” Charity watch is not the only organization calling for public accountability from BLMGNF.
