The Russian government claims to have destroyed 74 Ukrainian facilities, including 11 air bases, during the first hours of its full scale invasion of Ukraine. Ukraine has resorted to arming citizens who are willing to defend the country, and imploring help from the international community. Ukraine claims it has taken down 5 Russian jets and one helicopter.
