Growing Chinese Investments In U.S. Land Prompts H.R.3847 — Secure America’s Land

USDA data reports at minimal, 35.2 million acres of agricultural land in the U.S. are foreign owned. Chinese investments have rapidly increased over the last decade, posing a warning sign to American security. Texas Rep. Chip Roy recognized the growing threat of Communist China’s acquisition of mass agricultural property in the U.S., and is being proactive to keep foreign investments from internally disrupting America’s food supply. Roy introduced H.R.3847: The Securing America’s Land from Foreign Interference Act, which would ban members of the Chinese Communist Party from owning public or private real estate.
