James Little reached a plea agreement with federal prosecutors in November 2021 for parading, demonstrating, or picketing at the U.S. Capitol on Jan 6. The maximum sentence is six months in prison and a $5,000 fine. Little posted on Facebook a call for letters of support before he is set to be sentenced. However, Carlton Huffman, an acquaintance from Little’s past submitted a letter to Judge Royce Lamberth, asking for a harsher sentence for Little. Huffman wrote, “Unfortunately, in the case of James Little there is no remorse for his actions taken on January 6th and I believe a light sentence will present a risk to the public and to the governing authorities of the United States.”
