Texas Governor Greg Abbot said the election of Robert Francis “Beto” O’Rourke, his opponent in November’s election, would lead to the elimination of border security in Texas. “There are lives that have been lost because of the Biden administration’s refusal to secure the border,” Abbott explained. “Conversely, there are lives that have been saved because of the fentanyl and other drugs that we have seized.”
