White House chief medical advisor, Dr. Anthony Fauci, said he will resign if Trump returns in 2024 in an interview on CNN with Jim Acosta. Fauci and Trump did not agree on many issues during the pandemic, including the response time, approved treatments, testing strategies, or the duration of the shutdown. In contrast, Fauci described working under the Biden Administration as “liberating.”
