The Biden Administration placed a hold on the Department of Homeland Security’s Disinformation Governance Board. The White House said the Disinformation Board would help combat human smuggling and domestic terrorism. However, critics claim that the Board is “un-American” and unconstitutional because it would limit American’s free speech. The threat of legal action against the DHS and its board came from the attorneys general of 20 Republican-led states.
