Airbnb Inc. will shut down all listings and experiences in mainland China starting July 30. The company joins a long line of Western internet companies that have retreated from China, such as Linkedin, Yahoo, Facebook, and Google. Extreme COVID lockdowns, censorship, and operational difficulties are among the causes for many companies leaving China.
