Kissinger Says Ukraine Should Make Concessions for Peace

Objectivity 4.5 | Credibility 4.7 | Relevance 4.8

Former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger said Ukraine should make concessions to end the conflict with Russia and avoid a new war against Russia itself.  Kissinger urged Western forces to avoid a total defeat of Russia in Ukraine, saying that outcome would destabilize Europe.  The former official argued that the goal should be to go back to the status quo, but pursuing the battle beyond that point would create a new confrontation against Russia.
