House Passes Gun Control Bill

Objectivity 3.8 | Credibility 4.7 | Relevance 4.8

Ten House Republicans voted in favor to raise the age requirement for purchasing semi-automatic rifles from 18 to 21.  This measure comes as part of a broader package of Democrat-led legislation to respond to the Uvalde, Texas shooting.  The House passed the larger package, which contained a provision related to gun trafficking purchases, requiring background checks for ghost guns, among other measures.
