Turkey Agrees on Sweden and Finland Joining NATO

Turkey has dropped its opposition to Sweden and Finland joining NATO, Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg confirmed Tuesday.  “[W]e now have an agreement that paves the way for Finland and Sweden to join NATO,” Stoltenberg said.  Leaders of Sweden and Finland accepted demands from Turkish leaders to stop supporting the Kurdish Rebels that Turkey deems as a terrorist group.
