EU Drafting Emergency Plan to Deal With Limited Russian Energy Imports

The European Commission has committed to drafting a new emergency plan to help European Union countries deal with the repercussions of limited energy imports from Russia.  The plan will give member states the ability to reduce or remove Russian energy products, while promoting a push towards renewable sources of energy.  Some EU member states have been forced to reassess their climate change policies, including Germany, due to rising energy costs.
