After SCOTUS reversed Roe v. Wade, Biden is expected to sign the much anticipated executive order which his administration promises will protect access to reproductive healthcare services.  According to the White House, partly through Obamacare and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra will ensure the availability of medication abortion, emergency contraception, and intrauterine devices under Biden’s order.  Becerra will also be tasked with clarifying physician responsibilities and protections under the Emergency Medical Treatment and Labor Act.
