Wisconsin Supreme Court Makes Decision on Ballot Drop Boxes

Objectivity 4.6 | Credibility 4.9 | Relevance 4.6

The Wisconsin Supreme Court has banned the use of unmanned ballot drop boxes for ballot collection in a 4-3 decision released on Friday. The lawsuit, initiated by two Wisconsin voters, was brought against several entities including the Wisconsin Election Commission (WEC) and the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee. The decision followed a lower court ruling that also banned the use of drop boxes. The court also ruled that voters would not be allowed to give their ballots to others to drop them off for them.
