Dr. Anthony Fauci, chief medical advisor to the President, announced he will be retiring at the end of Biden’s term as Republicans are set to takeover Washington.  Fauci expects Republicans will “try and come after” him as midterm projections show the GOP will gain power and have indicated they will subpoena him.  He said, “I mean, probably less so if I’m not in the job.”  However, he claims his decision is not based on political fallout and impending investigations.
