Wisconsin School Board Bans Flags That Are “Political in Nature”

Objectivity 4.4 | Credibility 4.0 | Relevance 4.5

The Kettle Moraine School Board voted Tuesday to keep a code of conduct in place that forbids district employees from displaying political or religious messages, including pride flags, Black Lives Matter signs, and We Back the Badge signs. Staff also may not say in emails what their preferred pronouns are. LGBTQ advocates are outraged over the vote, saying it targets specific viewpoints, like LGBT communities, or students of color.
