Russia, China to Conduct Joint Military Exercises

Objectivity 4.6 | Credibility 4.8 | Relevance 4.8

The Russian Army will be conducting military drills in Russia’s Far East from August 30th to September 5th.  Elements of the China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) will also take part. The exercises will also include India, Mongolia, Belarus and other countries.  The PLA’s participation in the exercise is part of China’s “no limits” partnership with Russia that began in February when Russia affirmed Beijing’s stance that Taiwan is part of China. Likewise, China has not spoken out against Russia since it invaded Ukraine.
