Ohio Bills Passes Allowing Teachers to Be Armed in Class

House Bill 99 allows Ohio state schoolteachers and other staff members are to carry firearms on campus and into the classroom.  The new bill, which was signed on June 13 by Governor DeWine, went into effect this week. Each school district will be given a budget to train their teachers on gun safety in the classroom and how to protect and defend their students.
