Objectivity 4.6 | Credibility 4.7 | Relevance 4.7

The New York Post reported that Facebook has transmitted private messages questioning the 2020 election to the FBI without a subpoena.  After confronted about their actions, Facebook’s parent company Meta gave two statements denying the allegations. Meta spokesperson Erika Sackin first stated the claims were “false” entirely, then later changed the language, stating, “These claims are just wrong….”  The FBI neither confirmed nor denied claims of its cooperation with Facebook in a statement to the Post.
