Two recent polls conducted by two different Israeli TV stations show that Former Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud and allies would win 59 or 60 seats in the Knesset, just one or two seats short of a majority. Incumbent Prime Minister Yair Lapid’s party, Yesh Atid, is predicted to win 25 seats in both polls. Both polls show Religious Zionism, a contender to be a third party in Israeli politics, winning 14 seats. The upcoming elections, the fifth since 2019, will be held November 1st.
