The Biden Administration points out its concerns over Member of Knesset Itamar Ben Gvir, conservative leader and head of the right-wing party Otzma Yehudit, joining forces with potential Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.  “It would be a huge problem for us,” the White House official said, continuing, “This is not someone we want to see as part of the government.”  Otzma Yehudit criticized current Prime Minister Yair Lapid after the announcement, saying that Lapid has invited the U.S. to interfere in Israeli politics, which the Obama Administration, with Biden as VP, was accused of in 2015.
