With the 2022 midterm elections just around the corner, Republicans are seeking to turn red the blue districts which favored Joe Biden in 2020. The National Republican Campaign Committee (NRCC) has invested heavily in three districts in particular — California’s 26th district, New York’s 25th, and Pennsylvania’s 12th. These districts, which were solidly blue, are now becoming close races with two of the incumbent Democrats facing the possibility of losing to the Republican challengers. The third district in Pennsylvania is an open race as the incumbent Democrat is retiring.
