One of the topics of discussion was Russia’s war with Ukraine and its effect on the global economy and security. Also discussed were efforts by the U.S. to deny China access to semiconductor chips required for advanced weapons systems. Many see the recent communication as a precursor for a possible meeting between Biden and Xi at the G20 summit in Indonesia.
