On the evening of November 8 while U.S. midterm votes are being counted, a total lunar eclipse or “blood moon” will rise over America — the last visible one from Earth until 2025. The Bible speaks of such events as heavenly signs pointing to the soon return of Jesus Christ. Such an eclipse coinciding with the U.S. midterms and the recent Israeli election is seen by Christian leaders as prophetic for the two nations. Hank Kunneman, pastor of Lord of Hosts Church in Nebraska, says “This is the time on God’s calendar [and] He is calling it God’s-term, God’s turning or mid-turning.”
