CBS News recently reported that Hunter Biden’s emails regarding China were authentic, two years after the story was first released and just days after the 2022 midterm elections. Experts were commissioned by CBS to evaluate the hard drive using a variety of digital techniques; however, ultimately, they relied heavily on common-sense, non-technical evaluation to conclude the authenticity of the emails. “Just the sheer volume of what we’re dealing with it would be difficult, if not impossible, to fabricate,” Sean Lanterman, the company’s incident response director said.
