Netanyahu Says His Government Will Not Apply Talmudic Law

Israeli newly elected Prime Minister Benjamín Netanyahu said his administration would not apply Talmudic law.  “I maintained Israel’s democratic nature, traditions…this Israel is not going to be governed by Talmudic law…we are not going to ban LGBTQ+ forums,” Netanyahu said.  In Israel, the government is formed by a coalition of parties and Netanyahu stressed his administration would not yield to the radical elements of it.
