On Saturday Twitter CEO Elon Musk tweeted about interference in Brazil’s recent presidential election. “I’ve seen a lot of concerning tweets about the recent Brazil election. If those tweets are accurate, it’s possible that Twitter personnel gave preference to left wing candidates,” Musk tweeted. In light of the narrow victory by socialist Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva over the right-wing incumbent Jair Bolsonaro, Elon suggests it’s probable that Twitter’s personnel were involved with influencing the election.
