In a series of raids across Germany, as well as some in Austria and Italy, an alleged plot to overthrow the government in Germany has been stopped. At the center of the alleged plot is 71-year-old Prince Heinrich XIII from the Reuss family, which ruled part of central Germany until 1918. Heinrich XIII’s accomplices are two former German army officers along with a current member of Germany’s Special Forces and a judge. German authorities also believe Heinrich had support from a Russian national, but the Russian government has denied any involvement with the alleged plot. Authorities say that the alleged plan included attacking and capturing the German Parliament.
