Starbucks employees in the U.S. are planning a three-day walkout starting Friday in an effort to unionize the stores. According to Starbucks Workers United, the labor organization holding the walkout, more than 1,000 baristas at 100 stores are planning to strike, which is another major strike after a one-day walkout on November 17. Starbucks opposes workers’ efforts to unionize, claiming that the company operates better when working directly with employees than the union.
