Knesset Members Outraged Over EU Policy Document Detailing Two-State Solution

Objectivity 4.8 | Credibility 4.8 | Relevance 4.7

Forty members of Israel’s Knesset have sent a letter to top EU officials expressing outrage over an EU policy document which details plans for carving out Israeli territory to create a Palestinian state. The document refers to “Area C” which is commonly referred as the West Bank but is referenced by many Israelis using the Biblical names Judea and Samaria.  Many Palestinians want the territory as part of a Palestinian state, while many Israelis want the area incorporated into official Israeli territory. Approximately 500,000 Israelis and 300,000 Palestinians live in the disputed area.
