Republican Kari Lake said that she will appeal a judge’s decision to dismiss her lawsuit challenging the results of Arizona’s gubernatorial election. Lake lost the election by just over 17,00 votes to Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs but maintains that there was widespread, intentional misconduct in Arizona’s largest county of Maricopa. Lake cites printer issues, signature verification and ballot chain-of-custody issues as the justification for the lawsuit. A hearing date has not yet been set but will likely be expediated because governor-elect Hobbs is due to be sworn in on January 5th.
