Russia has launched a new round of missile and drone attacks aimed at the Ukrainian cities of Kyiv, Kharkiv and other major cities. During an assault which lasted over five hours, Ukraine says it shot down 54 of 69 missiles launched by Russian forces. Ukraine’s top general Valery Zaluzhny said in a Telegram post that they were targeted at energy infrastructure. Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba tweeted that the continued strikes on Ukrainian cities are “senseless barbarism.”
