U.S. Opens Embassy in Cuba Again

The United States Embassy in Cuba is reopening visa and consular services.  This would be the first time U.S. diplomatic personnel come back to the island since 2017, when unexplained health incidents among diplomatic staff slashed the American presence in Havana.  The Embassy confirmed this week it will begin processing immigrant visas with a priority placed on permits to reunite Cubans with family in the U.S.
