Portions of Emails from Hunter’s Laptop “Had to Be Real” Says Ex-Intel Official

Douglas Wise, one of the signatories of the letter aiming to discredit the Hunter Biden Laptop story, has admitted more than two years later that most of the content in the emails had to be based in reality. A former Defense Intelligence Agency deputy director, Wise was among the former intel officials who claimed in 2020 the content of Hunter’s laptop was a Russian misinformation operation. Wise told The Australian, “All of us figured that a significant portion of that content had to be real to make any Russian disinformation credible.”
