A 1971 Time magazine cover displayed an image of the hippie-led revival known as the “Jesus Movement.”  It is the subject of an upcoming faith-based film that has the goal of sparking another movement of spiritual renewal. ‘Jesus Revolution’ will tell the story of the “Jesus movement,” and will feature Jonathan Roumie, who portrays Jesus in “The Chosen,” as hippie evangelist Lonnie Frisbee. It opens in theaters February 24 and was produced by Kingdom Story, the same company that made “I Can Only Imagine.”
