The Pentagon has asked U.S. forces stationed in South Korea to send military equipment and supplies to Ukraine for its war against Russia, confirmed by U.S. Forces Korea (USFK) that has about 28,000 troops in South Korea. Col. Isaac Taylor, a USFK spokesperson, said sending equipment to Kyiv would not affect their operations in South Korea. “This has zero impact on our operations and our ability to execute on our ironclad commitment to the defense of our ally,” Taylor said.
