AOC Paid For Ad in Registered Chinese Foreign Agent Newspaper

During Alexandria Ocasio Cortez’s (AOC) reelection bid in 2022, it has been revealed that she paid for campaign ads in the Chinese publication, Sing Tao Newspapers, which is registered as a foreign agent.  AOC paid out nearly $1,500 for ads in the Chinese paper despite the DOJ classifying it as a foreign agent.  Sing Tao states that it is not connected to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and is privately owned, however, given Xi Jinping’s tight control over Chinese publications, many warn of potential red flags.
