Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX) and his Republican colleagues plan to introduce a bill, called “BEAT CHINA Act” to reduce manufacturing reliance on China. This bill intends to provide tax advantages to manufacturers coming back to the U.S. from abroad by changing the tax code. “The Chinese Communist Party is the single greatest foreign threat to U.S. national security,” Roy told The Epoch Times. “As long as we depend on China and the rest of the world to keep our shelves stocked, our economic prosperity, our political liberty, and our national security are all in grave danger.”
